Electrician, Burton on Trent

Location: Burton-on-Trent
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am – 4pm (40 hours per week)

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Electrician to join our team based in Burton-on-Trent. This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive pay, excellent benefits, and long-term career stability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work confidently with both single-phase and three-phase electrical systems
• Perform maintenance and repair on a variety of electrical equipment and machinery, including:
  • Pumps
  • Generators
  • Various wiring systems
• Diagnose faults and replace components as required
• Carry out statutory testing, including:
  • PAT testing
  • Fire alarm testing
  • Other compliance testing as required
• Undertake motor and equipment repairs
• Conduct inspection and auditing of equipment
• Complete all installation and compliance paperwork accurately and thoroughly
• Test and certify completed jobs
• Maintain high standards in line with company procedures and Health & Safety requirements
• Carry out ancillary works where required

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Electrician
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (Essential)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Essential)
• 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (Desirable)
• Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
