The clients engineers are at the heart of everything we do. As we continue our growth across the UK, we're looking for skilled AV Installation Engineers to join our Operations team and help deliver exceptional AV solutions for prestigious clients.
What You'll Be Working OnYou'll be involved in the installation and integration of high-end AV systems, including:
- Large-format video walls
- Digital signage solutions
- Corporate meeting room technology
- Video conferencing systems
- Control systems including Crestron, Extron and QSC
- Education and retail AV deployments
- Multi-site AV integration projects
No two projects are the same. You'll work alongside highly experienced engineers and project teams delivering installations that you can be proud to put your name to.
Who We're Looking ForThis role is for experienced AV engineers who already understand what good looks like.
You'll likely have:
- At least 5 years' experience within the AV installation industry
- Strong first and second fix installation experience
- Experience terminating, wiring, crimping, rack building and testing systems
- The ability to work confidently from schematics, drawings and site plans
- Experience with video conferencing technologies
- Knowledge of control systems such as Extron, Crestron or QSC
- Experience installing video wall solutions from manufacturers such as Samsung, NEC or Absen
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality workmanship
- A full UK driving licence
We're particularly interested in engineers who:
- Take ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do
- Can identify and solve issues on site
- Communicate professionally with colleagues and clients
- Want to continuously develop their technical skills
- Hold a CTS qualification (desirable but not essential)
As an AV Installation Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
- Delivering first and second fix AV installations to the highest standard
- Installing, terminating and testing cabling infrastructure
- Mounting displays, video walls, speakers and hardware
- Working from drawings, schematics and technical documentation
- Supporting project delivery alongside senior engineers and project managers
- Conducting site surveys and reporting installation requirements
- Preparing systems for commissioning and handover
- Troubleshooting installation issues and finding practical solutions
- Maintaining accurate documentation and installation records
- Ensuring health and safety standards are consistently maintained
- Salary of 40,000 to 45,000 depending on experience
