Our Client is looking for an English Teacher to work within a thriving mixed comprehensive school in Chelmsford. The successful English Teacher will teach KS3 & KS4 and contribute to the wider English curriculum, including reading initiatives and creative writing projects.
School Information
This 11–18 school educates approximately 1,250 pupils and continues to perform above national averages, with 94% of students achieving grades 9–4 in English and Maths. The English department is well-resourced, offering a rich curriculum that encourages analytical and expressive skills through literature, media, and language study.
Teachers describe the environment as collegiate, professional, and nurturing. The school prides itself on its inclusive ethos and strong pastoral care, ensuring both staff and students are supported to achieve their best. Experience and Qualifications
• English Teacher with the ability to teach KS3 & KS4
• A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
• Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom practice
• Legal right to work within the UK
