We are looking for a Patient Co-ordination Centre Co-ordinator to join the existing team. In this role you will co-ordinate all administrative activities relating to patient referrals from NHS Boards, Independent Sector sites and Elective Centres across Scotland, including scheduling all patient hospital appointments and admissions. You will also c o-ordinate all patient pre-operative assessment clinics, ward admissions, theatre procedures and diagnostic/interventional cardiology procedures.
Extensive previous experience in a health care environment and understanding of Treatment Time Guarantee guidelines is essential for this post as are excellent communication, customer care and organisational skills.
This service supports 7 day working, therfore your working pattern will be 5 days over 7
