With a starting salary of £55,166.49 per annum, Baxter Thetford are keen to speak with experienced Multi-skilled Mechanical Bias Maintenance Engineers who are looking for a meaningful new role within a fast-paced team. We know your talent is needed across a wide variety of industries; working within our Operational Maintenance Engineering team you have a wide array of career choices, be motivated by the opportunity to work in a company that supports innovation, professional development, and a purposeful mission. You will provide plant wide reactive and proactive maintenance and support new installations and engineering projects across site. - Training Offered: IPAF / Working at height, ABB robotics, Fanuc robotics, Staubli robotics, Lobo
- Carry out all planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
- Raise corrective and reactive maintenance dockets on Maximo.
- Assist and support queries to identify improvements to the stores system.
- Review planned and preventative maintenance procedures and suggest improvements.
- Advance issues when necessary, in a timely manner.
- Identify areas for improvement across site.
- Deliver all activities at the standards required by GMP
- HNC or equivalent in Mechanical and/or Electrical engineering
- High level Mechanical knowledge and overall engineering understanding in a highly regulated manufacturing environment
- High degree of competency Welding & Machine Lathe & Milling
- High level working knowledge of Gear box, pumps, pneumatic & hydraulic systems
- Electrical knowledge of control panels, automation and robotics
- Good level knowledge of electrical Safety, CCT and controllers
- Work as part of a wider team but also show the ability to work independently
