A Cover Supervisor is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.

This Cover Supervisor position will be part time on a daily supply basis and short temporary in the first instance.

If appointed as a Cover Supervisor, your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Independently covering different classes in the absence of teachers
• Managing pupil behaviour effectively and promoting positive behaviour
• Actively engaging with pupils and ensuring the school's behaviour policy is followed
• Holding good understanding of ICT and how to carry out basic administrative tasks
• Demonstrating a positive attitude and adapting to different situations

The rates of pay for this Cover Supervisor post will be between £99.75 to £130 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

The School

An 'Outstanding' Secondary School & Sixth Form in the London Borough of Merton.

It is a mixed, 11 - 18, non-selective school with a wide demographic of pupils and staff.

90% of students stay in education or employment after Key Stage 4.

The site has its own dedicated SEN Support Centre and a variety of sports facilities.

Ofsted have noted there is positive culture of learning and a strong sense of community.

Requirements

You will be considered if you're a recent Graduate or experienced Cover Supervisor.

Applications are also welcome if you're a British trained Cover Supervisor or overseas trained Cover Supervisor.

All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this role as a Cover Supervisor:

• Right to work in the UK
• Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
• UK Bachelor's Degree or an overseas equivalent
• Experience of working with children/teenagers or as a Cover Supervisor in UK schools
