The Newton Group of Schools is seeking an experienced and dedicated SENCo to join our school from August 2026 .
This is a whole-school role responsible for coordinating and leading Special Educational Needs provision across the school. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with BSO requirements , promote inclusive practice, and work closely with staff, parents, and external professionals to support positive outcomes for all learners.
The successful candidate will:
Lead and coordinate SEN provision across the school
Ensure compliance with BSO regulations and best practice
Support and advise teachers on inclusive teaching strategies
Oversee SEN identification, provision mapping, and documentation
Liaise effectively with parents, external agencies, and school leaders
Requirements:
Minimum 6 years’ experience in a SENCo role
Recognised teaching qualification and SEN-related qualification
Strong organisational, communication, and collaboration skills
Experience in an international or British curriculum setting
