Carpentry Technician Location: East London Salary: £26,020 - £30,912 per annum Contract: Permanent, Full Time Are you an experienced Carpenter or Joiner looking for a role where you can use your industry skills to support the next generation of tradespeople? The Role As Carpentry Technician, you will: Support lecturers with the preparation and delivery of practical lessons. Assist learners across different levels to develop their carpentry skills. Maintain carpentry workshops, tools and equipment to a high standard. Support the safe and effective use of workshop facilities. Provide guidance and encouragement to learners during practical activities. Help ensure health and safety procedures are followed across the workshop. Support learners working towards further study, employment and apprenticeships. What We're Looking For Relevant industry experience within carpentry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and support learners. Good organisational and IT skills. A strong understanding of workshop health and safety.Previous teaching experience is not essential. The key requirement is strong industry knowledge and the ability to support and motivate learners. Benefits Salary up to £30,912 per annum.
