We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join an established Tier 1 MEP Contractor on a hospital project based in Surbiton.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee mechanical installation works, ensuring all activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation works on site.
- Manage and oversee mechanical subcontractors and site operatives.
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and programme requirements.
- Monitor installation quality and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety across all site activities.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Attend site meetings and provide regular progress updates.
- Identify and resolve technical issues to keep works on programme.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on commercial or healthcare projects.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical building services installations.
- Previous experience working for an MEP contractor.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
- Relevant site qualifications and a strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
