Maintenance Engineer, Corby

Hours: 4 On / 3 Off – Days / Nights Rotating

Salary: £42000 rising to £45,000+ after successful probation

Location: Corby

Contract Type: Permanent

Due to continued growth and expansion we are currently looking to recruit an Maintenance Engineer to join a business in Corby on a permanent basis. The working hours will be moving to a continental 4 on 4 off days / night rotating by the end of the year so candidates MUST be able to commit to both.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery
• Fault finding on both electrical and mechanical systems
• Support continuous improvement and reduce downtime across the site
• Work on a range of equipment such as conveyors, motors, gearboxes, sensors, and control panels
• Assist with installation, upgrades, and modifications of machinery
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
• Accurately complete maintenance logs and reports

Experience and Skills:

• Multi-skilled engineer with a balanced electrical and mechanical skillset (50/50)
• Experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment
• Strong electrical fault-finding (e.g. motors, drives, sensors, PLC basics)
• Good mechanical knowledge (e.g. bearings, belts, pneumatics, hydraulics)
• Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
• Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills
