Corporate Solicitor

Corporate Solicitor We are working on behalf of a leading law firm in Coventry that is seeking a Corporate Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience to join its established and highly regarded corporate team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced solicitor looking to handle a broad range of complex and high-value corporate matters while progressing their career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment. Role Overview: The successful candidate will take a lead role in advising clients on a variety of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructures, joint ventures, and shareholder agreements. You will be expected to manage matters independently, supervise junior lawyers where appropriate, and contribute to business development activities. Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a range of corporate transactions from instruction through to completion
• Advising clients on M&A, reorganisations, governance, and shareholder arrangements
• Drafting and negotiating commercial and corporate documentation
• Providing practical, solutions-driven advice to a broad client base, including SMEs and larger corporates
• Supporting junior team members and contributing to their development
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships

• Qualified solicitor with at least 5 years' PQE in corporate law
• Proven experience in handling M&A, restructures, and corporate advisory work
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision
• Commercially aware with excellent communication skills
• Comfortable in a client-facing role with an interest in business development
