We are currently recruiting for a Night Transport Operator to support our distribution contract at our site in Worksop. Working 4on 4off – Nights

Pay, Benefits And More

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £34,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 20 days holidays.

What You’ll Do On a Typical Day

• To cost effectively plan and dispatch routes to achieve contractual delivery times, conducting remedial planning to effectively manage live changes to the plan.
• To review the cost effectiveness of routes through KPI analysis, taking remedial action where necessary
• To ensure all administrative traffic duties are carried out as necessary and to a high level of accuracy and professionalism
• To liaise with line management to ensure the effective use of hire vehicles / sub-contractors minimising the cost impact to the business
• To ensure that details of vehicle accidents are escalated to line management
• To ensure that defected vehicles are recorded on traffic sheets

What You Need To Succeed At XPO

• Working knowledge of driver hours regulations
• Good geographical knowledge of the UK
• Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements
• Financial Understanding
• Operational understanding of team roles
