We're recruiting for an Assistant Food Manager to join a busy, high-volume hospitality operation where you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences while leading and developing large teams.

The Role
Supporting the Food Manager, you'll help oversee the day-to-day operation of a large, fast-paced dining venue, ensuring outstanding guest service, excellent food standards and an efficient operation.
You'll lead from the front during service, coach and develop your team, monitor performance and help drive continuous improvements across the operation.

The Role
Supporting the Food Manager, you'll help oversee the day-to-day operation of a large, fast-paced dining venue, ensuring outstanding guest service, excellent food standards and an efficient operation.
You'll lead from the front during service, coach and develop your team, monitor performance and help drive continuous improvements across the operation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the daily operation of a busy, high-volume restaurant.
- Leading, motivating and developing supervisors and team members.
- Delivering exceptional guest service and resolving guest queries professionally.
- Ensuring food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards are maintained at all times.
- Assisting with labour planning, rota management and productivity.
- Supporting stock control, ordering and waste reduction.
- Monitoring service standards and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Working closely with kitchen and operational teams to deliver a seamless guest experience.
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members.
- Deputising for the Food Manager when required.
You'll be a hands-on leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and developing high-performing teams.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous management or supervisory experience within a high-volume restaurant, catering or hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Experience managing busy service periods.
- A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and peak trading periods.
- Holiday park, hotel or resort experience.
- Food Safety Level 2 or 3 qualification.
- Experience managing labour budgets and rotas.
- Stock control and ordering experience.
- Salary upto £33k
- Live-in accommodation available (where applicable)
