Part-Time History Buff Wanted! (Essex School)
Calling history enthusiasts with a flexible schedule! Are you passionate about the past and eager to ignite a fascination with it in students? Join our dynamic school community in Essex for a part-time History Teacher position .
In this exciting and time-traveling role (part-time!), you'll:
- Design engaging and interactive lessons that bring history to life for students of all abilities, working within a flexible schedule.
- Foster critical thinking and research skills, equipping students to explore the past and understand its impact on the present.
- Spark a love for historical storytelling through discussions, projects, and activities that make learning history fun.
- Prepare students for further education or exciting careers in history, law, politics, and many more fields.
We're looking for a dedicated and inspiring educator with:
- A strong academic background in History and a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (preferred).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- A passion for the past and the ability to translate complex historical concepts into engaging learning experiences for students.
- The ability to thrive in a collaborative school environment with a flexible part-time schedule.
