As an Area Manager, you’ll make sure your site is running as smoothly as it should so that we can meet customer demand. You will be leading a team that helps keep our operations safe, efficient, and of a high quality and taking on a number of projects across our network to drive productivity. Key job responsibilities

You’ll work on a shift pattern at one of our sites, making sure it is as productive as it can be. Your main focus will be to own and drive a culture of safety and uphold quality and shift performance standards. You’ll also oversee process improvements within your area and drive implementation. A typical day is varied, including everything from routine team management and daily operational responsibilities to process improvement and wide-scale operational contingency tasks. You’ll also be a role model and mentor to new managers. Please note this role may require night shift working. Candidates are expected to be flexible in working hours across days and nights. - Experience in people management and team development
- Experience engaging, verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner
- Experience using data analysis to drive business decisions
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English
- Experience designing AI, Computer Vision, or Mapping products
- Experience within a distribution center, logistics, or manufacturing environment

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced degree, or Bachelor's degree- Experience in people management and team development
- Experience engaging, verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner
- Experience using data analysis to drive business decisions
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques, or experience in similar environments- Experience designing AI, Computer Vision, or Mapping products
- Experience within a distribution center, logistics, or manufacturing environment
