About the Role
A supportive and high-achieving 11–18 school in Staffordshire is seeking an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher of Geography to join its thriving Humanities faculty from January 2026. This full-time, permanent role offers an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified or early-stage teacher to begin their career in a school with a strong record of developing and nurturing staff.
The school has an excellent reputation for academic success and pastoral care. The Geography department plays a vital role in helping students explore the connections between people, places and the environment through enquiry-based learning.
The Department and Facilities
The department is housed in a modern Humanities suite with interactive classrooms, digital mapping tools and GIS software. Fieldwork forms an integral part of the curriculum, and students regularly engage in local and national trips. Staff work collaboratively, sharing schemes of work and resources to ensure consistent, engaging lessons.
