On-Prem IAM Support Engineer (Contract) - On-site (Inverness) - £470/day

A high-impact contract role supporting on-prem Identity & Access Management in an enterprise environment. If you're the person people call when AD/LDAP authentication breaks , access requests pile up, or audit questions land-this is for you.

The role

You'll own day-to-day support and improvement of on-prem IAM services to keep authentication, authorisation, and access controls running securely and reliably.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting and troubleshooting on-prem IAM platforms (eg, Active Directory, LDAP and related services)
  • Monitoring performance, diagnosing incidents, and driving fixes to reduce downtime
  • Handling user provisioning/de-provisioning , access changes and audits
  • Working with security and engineering teams to implement policies and stay compliant
  • Producing clear documentation for processes, fixes, and configurations
What we're looking for

  • Proven experience supporting on-prem IAM (AD/LDAP/similar)
  • Strong knowledge of authentication mechanisms, access management, security protocols
  • Confident troubleshooting under pressure in a production environment
  • Clear communicator (technical + non-technical stakeholders)
  • Security/IAM certifications are a bonus (eg, CISSP/CISA or similar)
