HGV Class 1 General Haulage

HGV Class 1 General Haulage - Carlisle  

Due to rapid expansion of the business, we are currently recruiting Class 1 General Haulage drivers

This role involves transporting goods to various customer destinations across the UK.

Immediate start for successful candidates!

Shifts available:

• Day shifts: Start times between 05:00 – 07:00 (5 on / 3 off rotation)
• Night shifts: Start times between 16:00 – 20:00 (5 on / 3 off rotation)

Day pay rates:

• Monday to Friday: £16.00 per hour
• Saturday: £19.00 per hour
• Sunday & Bank Holidays: £21.00 per hour

Night pay rates:

• Monday to Friday: £17.50 per hour
• Saturday: £20.50 per hour
• Sunday & Bank Holidays: £22.50 per hour

➡️  Only a 30-minute break deducted per shift!

Responsibilities: 

• Delivering a professional and efficient driving service within the General Haulage team, undertaking deliveries and collections of products. 
• Loading/Unloading and securing loads.
• Dealing with customers face to face.
• Keeping in regular contact with the transport office team for updates on progress and managing customer’s expectations.

What we are looking for:

• Class 1 experience required.
• In date DIGI and CPC card.
• Enthusiastic and reliable.
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.
