Primary PPA Teacher Full Time Temporary NEW

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Harlow to provide PPA cover across the school.

The Role

As the PPA Teacher, you will provide cover across the full primary age range — from Early Years to Year 6 — allowing class teachers time for planning, preparation, and assessment. This is a full-time role working across a range of classes and year groups throughout the school.

Most lesson planning will be provided by class teachers, although there may be opportunities for you to contribute ideas and adapt activities to suit the needs of individual classes. You will work closely with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning and positive classroom experiences for all pupils.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience teaching across the primary phase
• Demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge
• Be confident with behaviour and classroom management
• Have a flexible and adaptable approach
• Be proactive, enthusiastic, and organised

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified primary teacher who enjoys variety in their day-to-day teaching and is confident delivering engaging lessons across the school.

This PPA Teacher role is offered on an ongoing contract basis with a September 2026 start.
