The successful candidate will be responsible for packing, transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires excellent driving skills, organisational abilities, and strong communication to provide exceptional service to our customers. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. In time, the successful candidate will be expected to operate the invoicing computer system, taking payments and inputting customer orders

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vans, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Load and unload goods, often involving heavy lifting, with attention to safety procedures.
• Communicate clearly with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery times and any potential issues.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Money handling.
• Computer input.
