Pay & Working Hours- Pay Rate: £13.34 per hour
- Working Days: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 7:00am - 4:30pm
- Breaks: 1-hour unpaid lunch break

Role Overview & ResponsibilitiesAs a Yard Operative, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the yard, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions, supporting daily yard operations
- Providing a high level of customer service by assisting customers with queries and orders
- Receiving deliveries and accurately logging all incoming goods
- Supporting stock checks and ensuring inventory is correctly recorded
- Checking goods for accuracy and quality before loading
- Safely loading and unloading materials, ensuring correct handling procedures are followed
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and well-organised yard environment
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working site for staff and customers
This is a varied and active role where no two days are the same.

Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or builders' merchant environment is beneficial.
