Part Time Theatre Administrator | Spire Nottingham Hospital | Tollerton | 15 Hours Per Week
Shifts Monday to Friday between 7.30am and 6pm, with occasional Saturdays
Spire Nottingham Hospital is seeking a motivated Administrator to join our Theatre team. This role is perfect for someone with strong organisational and administrative skills who wants to work in a professional and collaborative environment, playing a key role in supporting patient care behind the scenes.
This is a part-time position working 15 hours per week. Shifts will be scheduled Monday to Friday between 7.30am and 6pm, with occasional Saturday working required to meet service needs.
Please note that access to your own transport is essential due to limited public transport links.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily theatre schedules, maintaining accurate operating lists and effective diary management.
- Provide efficient administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the theatre department.
- Act as the first point of contact, managing queries and directing them appropriately.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service to patients, consultants and colleagues.
- Support the Theatre Manager in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the theatre department.
- Maintain quality systems and support compliance with relevant regulatory and healthcare standards, including CQC requirements.
- Manage and distribute information to internal and external stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner.
Who We're Looking For
- Access to your own transport is essential due to limited public transport links.
- Previous experience in an administrative support role.
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other administrative systems, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience handling confidential information appropriately and professionally.
- Previous healthcare administration experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
