Port Assistant (Ardrossan & Troon)

We are currently seeking applications to join our teams in Ardrossan and Troon. We are looking for flexible and customer-focused individuals to undertake a multi-skilled role supporting our operations across the pier, ticket office and car marshalling areas

Role Information

Location: Ardrossan and Troon Ferry Terminals

Contract Type: Permanent

Number of Vacancies: 1 position available

Working Pattern: Typically working 4 days over 7, including evenings, weekends and public holidays

What You'll be Doing

As part of our port operations team, you will undertake a varied role supporting the safe, efficient and customer-focused delivery of our services. Duties will include but not limited to:

• Assisting with day to day pier operations and vessel turnarounds
• Providing excellent customer service and ticketing support within the ticket office
• Supporting the safe embarkation and disembarkation of passengers, vehicles and freight
• Responding to customer enquries and providing travel information
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of port and vessel operations
• Maintaining high standards of safety, security and housekeeping across all work areas

• Can commute to and from our ports in Ardrossan and Troon
• Are able to work in inside and outside environments during adverse weather
