HGV 1 Shunter Driver - Immediate Start.

Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour
Hours: 08:00 - 17:00
Break: 45 minutes unpaid
Days: 4-5 days per week available

We are currently recruiting for an HGV 1 Shunter vacancy offering ongoing work with an immediate start.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for regular daytime hours, straightforward routes, and consistent work.
The role involves operating an HGV Class 1 vehicle with a refrigerated (chiller) trailer, transporting stock between two designated locations and delivering to depot sites.
Drivers can start from either Camberley or Overton, providing flexibility depending on your location.
As part of this HGV 1 Shunter vacancy , you will complete approximately 2-3 runs per day, moving stock safely and efficiently between sites.
Full onsite training is provided on your first day, making this a great opportunity for newly qualified drivers as well as experienced professionals.
Further Information About The Role:
- Drive an HGV Class 1 vehicle with a chiller trailer.
- Transport stock between two fixed locations and distribution depots.
- Complete 2-3 runs per day.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and on time.
- Follow all transport and driver compliance regulations.
Requirements For This Role:
- Valid UK Driving Licence.
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- No minimum experience required.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
