We're working with welcoming primary schools in  Middlesbrough looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 . If you're looking for new September roles, we've got full-time opportunities waiting.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
• Working with individual pupils and small groups to build confidence and understanding
• Helping to create a positive, engaging and inclusive classroom environment
• Supporting teachers with classroom activities and behaviour management
• Encouraging every child to reach their full potential

What you'll need

• ✅ Experience supporting children in a UK primary classroom
• ✅ Good knowledge of the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 National Curriculum
• ✅ A positive, patient and proactive approach
• ✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills
• ✅ An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
• ✅ Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
