Key Stage Two Teaching Assistant – Bath

Monarch Education is supporting a friendly and inclusive primary school in Bath , seeking a dedicated KS2 general Teaching Assistant to join their team in September. The school provides a nurturing, structured environment for children aged 7 – 11 years old, and is committed to helping every pupil grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about supporting young learners and is ready to make a meaningful difference every day. If you’re patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic about helping children thrive academically, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

This role would also suit an ECT or recent graduate with an interest in working within education.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting primary-aged pupils within a Key Stage Two class
• Providing 1:1 and small‑group support tailored to individual needs where necessary.
• Assisting with all subjects within teh curriculum.
• Working closely with class teachers to support lesson delivery and classroom organisation.
• Encouraging independence, confidence, and celebrating progress-big or small.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience supporting children or young people age 7 – 11 years old
• A caring, proactive, and reliable individual who enjoys helping children succeed.
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
• Any relevant teaching assistant qualifications are beneficial but not essential.
