Senior Digital Lead

£44.9 - £52.3 per hourEstimated

Job Description

Overview

Are you passionate about helping engineering teams and clients make practical use of digital tools and ways of working? Do you enjoy acting as a connector between projects, clients, and specialist digital teams-spotting opportunities, supporting adoption, and helping good ideas land well in delivery?

To support our growing nuclear portfolio, we are looking for a Framework Digital Lead to work alongside project teams and clients, acting as a trusted digital partner rather than a project authority. This role is focused on enablement, coordination, and influence, supporting the uptake of digital capabilities and ensuring projects are well connected to the wider AtkinsRéalis digital ecosystem.

At AtkinsRéalis, digital is about doing things differently, and doing different things-improving safety, efficiency, quality, and outcomes through better use of information, technology, and ways of working.

Your role

As a Partner Digital Lead, you will:
  • Act as a digital partner and advisor to project teams and clients, helping them understand what digital services and tools are available and how they can add value.
  • Work alongside Project Managers and Project Directors to support digital adoption, rather than owning delivery or acting as a final authority.
  • Help identify pain points, improvement opportunities, and quick wins, feeding these into functional digital teams for solution development or support.
  • Support early conversations around potential digital opportunities in bids and proposals, contributing insight rather than acting as bid authority.
  • Encourage consistent use of standard digital ways of working, tools, and platforms across projects.
This role is about influence, coordination, and practical support, not project control or senior governance.

Digital Partnering & Enablement
  • Act as a first point of contact for projects seeking digital advice or support.
  • Help projects understand and access the right digital capabilities, tools, and services from across AtkinsRéalis.
  • Assist in identifying emerging digital opportunities within projects and client engagements.
  • Coordination with Digital Functions.
  • Interface with Nuclear EMEA and wider AtkinsRéalis digital teams to coordinate support and resources.
  • Capture lessons learned and examples of good practice from projects.
  • Support communities of practice, showcases, and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay informed about the evolving digital portfolio and emerging technologies.

About You

You are someone who:
  • Enjoys working collaboratively with project teams, clients, and specialists.
  • Is confident explaining digital concepts in clear, practical, non-technical language.
  • Is comfortable operating with guidance and support from more senior digital leaders.
  • Is motivated by seeing teams adopt better ways of working and delivering tangible improvements.
  • Brings curiosity, openness, and a continuous-improvement mindset.
  • You will likely have experience in engineering, digital delivery, information management, or technology-enabled change, with exposure to project environments rather than overall project accountability.

Rewards & benefits

Explore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive - at every stage of your life and your career. Enjoy competitive salaries, employee rewards and a brilliant range of benefits you can tailor to suit your own health, wellbeing, financial and lifestyle choices. Make the most of a myriad of opportunities for training and professional development to grow your skills and expertise.
