Supplier Relationship Analyst Overview We are looking for an experienced Supplier Relationship Analyst to take ownership of supplier performance across a portfolio of IT and Information Services suppliers. This role is focused on supplier governance, performance management, service reviews, issue resolution, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure contractual commitments, SLAs, and service expectations are consistently met. This is not a procurement or tender management role. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for assigned IT suppliers, building effective working relationships and ensuring suppliers deliver against agreed contractual commitments.
Lead supplier service review meetings, including agenda preparation, coordination of inputs, facilitation, and the management of actions through to completion.
Monitor and assess supplier performance against SLAs, KPIs, contractual obligations, and service expectations.
Review, validate, and analyse supplier performance reports, service metrics, and benefits realisation data, providing insight and recommendations to stakeholders.
Challenge underperformance and hold suppliers accountable for service delivery and agreed outcomes.
Produce governance reporting, management information packs, and performance updates to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Maintain supplier action, risk, issue, and dependency logs, ensuring items are tracked and progressed through to resolution.
Manage supplier issues and service concerns, escalating where appropriate to ensure timely resolution and minimise business impact.
Drive supplier improvement plans, ensuring actions are implemented and measurable improvements are delivered.
Identify opportunities to improve supplier performance, service quality, governance processes, and overall value delivered to the business.
Work closely with Vendor Managers, Product Managers, Service Managers, and business stakeholders to support effective supplier management and governance.
Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery and strengthen supplier relationships. Essential Experience Experience in Supplier Management, Vendor Management, Service Management, or Contract Management.
Strong background managing IT, Digital, Technology, or Information Services suppliers.
Experience monitoring supplier performance against SLAs and KPIs.
Proven ability to challenge suppliers and hold them accountable for delivery.
Experience managing risks, issues, escalations, and improvement plans.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Excellent analytical and reporting capabilities. Desirable Experience within a regulated environment.
Utilities sector experience.
ITIL or Service Management experience. Key Attributes Takes ownership and works independently.
Confident and credible when challenging suppliers.
Strong attention to detail.
Commercially aware and outcome focused.
