Shift Coordinator Wanted!
The Best Connection is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established automotive company based in South Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Shift Coordinator to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist and manage the direction of the shift to achieve production targets and customer requirements.
- Manage day-to-day operations, prioritizing tasks and following through to completion.
- Ensure smooth shift handovers and maintain consistency with other Shift Coordinators.
- Input and analyse production, quality, and plant performance data
- Promote and respond to Health & Safety issues, near misses, and accidents.
- Provide cover for the Shift Controller during absence.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a management/supervisor position (automotive industry desirable).
- At least 3 years of automotive manufacturing experience.
- Ability to work in a leadership team and delegate staff.
⏰ Hours of Work:
- 14:00-22:00
- Monday-Friday
Pay Rate:
- £14.47 per hour
