Operations Manager

Kingsley Roofing are looking for an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to lead the successful delivery of roofing projects across London and the surrounding areas. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader with proven roofing industry experience to play a key role in driving operational excellence, maintaining exceptional quality standards, and ensuring outstanding client satisfaction.

Working closely with the pre-construction and delivery teams, you will oversee projects from planning through to completion, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget.

The Role

As Operations Manager, you will:

Collaborate with the pre-construction team to develop project plans, programmes, and budgets aligned with client requirements and company objectives
Manage labour, materials, plant, and equipment allocation to maximise operational efficiency
Oversee roofing projects to ensure all works meet industry standards, quality expectations, and programme deadlines
Promote and enforce a strong health & safety culture across all sites
Manage subcontractor selection, negotiation, and performance to ensure high-quality project delivery
Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout project execution, handling queries, variations, and progress updates
Monitor project costs and implement cost-saving measures to improve profitability
Lead, mentor, and support operational teams, creating a collaborative and high-performing working environment
Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular reporting to senior management
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Proven experience within an Operations-focused role in the Roofing industry
Strong technical knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems and materials
Excellent understanding of project management, quality control, and health & safety procedures
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship abilities
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
A proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach
