Temporary Purchase Ledger Assistant

Robert Half Ltd are pleased to be working with a business in West Oxfordshire that are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to join a busy finance team on a 3-4 month temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a high-volume processing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing supplier invoices accurately and on time
- Matching invoices to purchase orders and resolving discrepancies
- Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date purchase ledger
- Preparing supplier payment runs and reconciling supplier statements
- Handling supplier queries and maintaining supplier records
- Processing employee expenses and company credit card transactions
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in a high-volume purchase ledger or accounts payable role
- Experience processing company credit card transactions
- Strong matching and batching experience
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Available immediately or on a short notice period
