We are recruiting for a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our client’s thriving main dealership in Swindon. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a well‑established dealer group known for delivering exceptional customer service, strong brand representation, and consistent business growth.
As Sales Manager, you will lead a motivated sales team and play a key role in shaping the performance and success of the dealership’s new and used vehicle operations. You’ll drive standards, maximise sales opportunities, and create a positive, customer‑focused environment where both the team and the business can excel. This is the ideal role for an ambitious leader who thrives in a fast‑paced retail environment and is passionate about delivering results.

- exclusive shopping and lifestyle perks Sales Manager Role: - Lead and oversee a busy sales department—including Sales Executives, the Business Manager, and administrative team members —reporting directly to the General Manager
- Manage the team to deliver a seamless sales process while maintaining close customer engagement throughout the vehicle purchase journey
- Ensure adherence to dealership and manufacturer standards, including compliance with FCA and financial regulations
- Set and exceed targets for unit sales, finance penetration, and additional aftermarket products
- Coach, develop, and mentor the sales team, using structured training and performance management to boost individual and team effectiveness Sales Manager Requirements: - Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Sales Manager or General Sales Manager within a successful car dealership environment
- Full UK driving licence.
