Hiring: Independent Prescribing Pharmacists and Nurse Prescribers, remote and in-clinic (Burnley)
About the role:We’re building the UK’s most patient-centred online weight loss service. As an Independent Prescribing Pharmacist or Nurse Prescriber at Slinic, you’ll deliver safe, effective weight management clinics: assessment, prescribing, counselling, and follow-up. Responsibilities:
• Conduct structured weight loss consultations and risk assessments
• Prescribe appropriately (incl. GLP-1s) within protocols and your competence
• Provide lifestyle counselling, monitor outcomes, manage side-effects. Requirements:
• GPhC-registered Independent Prescriber (Pharmacist) OR NMC-registered Nurse Prescriber
• Demonstrable weight loss prescribing experience in community or clinic
• Confident with clinical guidelines, red-flag recognition & safeguarding
• Excellent communication and patient education skills What we offer:
