You'll play a vital role in helping pupils develop confidence, emotional resilience and positive relationships, ensuring they can access learning and achieve their potential.
No two days are the same. Whether you're supporting a child on a 1:1 basis, helping pupils regulate their emotions, or encouraging positive behaviour within the classroom, you'll be making a genuine difference every single day.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting pupils with behavioural, emotional and social needs in the classroom.
- Helping children understand and manage their emotions through consistent routines and positive reinforcement.
- Building trusting relationships that encourage confidence, independence and engagement.
- Working alongside teachers and SENCOs to implement personalised behaviour strategies.
- Creating a calm, safe and inclusive environment where pupils can flourish.
- Celebrating every achievement, no matter how small, and helping children develop skills for lifelong success.
We're Looking For Someone Who Is...
- Patient, calm and able to remain positive under pressure.
- Passionate about supporting children who need additional guidance.
- An excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
- Resilient and confident managing challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Experienced in schools, youth work, care, sports coaching, mentoring or similar child-focused environments (desirable but not essential).
