Finance Officer - St. Austell - £26,000
Trial Balance Consulting have been invited to assist a very long-standing client and particularly well-established Cornish business who seek to recruit an experienced Finance Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. The company offers consumer services and has experienced significant growth in recent years. With a well-considered business model, the company is now expanding out of the county and looks set to continue on a strong upward trajectory.
This role within a friendly and experienced finance team and the successful candidate will take a lead focus in ensuring that the accounts receivable function operates effectively and efficiency. The core focus of the role will be:
- All aspects of accounts receivable to include raising sales ledger invoices and documentation
- Credit control
- Administration of banking and cash transactions and reconciliations
- Taking a lead role in applying third party income through funding
- Assisting Finance Director and Management Accountant with ad-hoc project assistance as required
- Ad-hoc assistance to the purchase ledger team
We’re looking for an Accounts Assistant who possesses in excess of 12 months of general finance experience, either part/fully AAT qualified or qualified by experience. This is a busy role that will require exceptional organisational skills and a methodical approach to the duties of the post. The company takes a modern and forward thing attitude to technology and good experience in Sage, MS Excel and general MS Office products is essential.
