Secondary Teachers – Supply Opportunities | September 2026 Start
Leeds & Wakefield
£150 – £220 per day (depending on experience and placement length)
Are you a passionate and adaptable Secondary Teacher looking for flexible work or your next long-term opportunity from September 2026?
At PK Education, we are working closely with a wide range of Secondary Schools across Leeds and Wakefield who are looking for strong classroom practitioners to support across multiple subject areas.
We are recruiting for:
- Day-to-day supply teachers
- Short-term cover
- Long-term placements
- Temp-to-perm opportunities
Whether you are an experienced teacher, ECT, or returning to education, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across the secondary curriculum
- Maintain strong classroom behaviour management
- Adapt to different school environments confidently
- Support pupils’ academic progress and wellbeing
- Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching within UK Secondary Schools
- Strong classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- A flexible and professional approach
