IQVIA seeks a Data Standards Engineer to design and implement CDISC-aligned standards and study specifications for clinical research clients. The role involves supporting clients and internal teams in standards adoption, developing compliance tools, and representing IQVIA as an industry authority in data standardization.
Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end client standards and study specifications aligned with CDISC and regulatory guidance
- Partner with statisticians and programmers to build tools supporting CDISC-compliant project delivery
- Deliver training and mentorship on metadata repositories and compliance technologies to clients and staff
- Lead implementation of productivity tools that enhance compliance and efficiency in regulatory submissions
- Represent IQVIA in industry forums and collaborate with CDISC-sanctioned working groups on standards development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, or related field
- Demonstrated experience with CDISC Standards, particularly SDTM and ADaM
- Experience on industry teams working with standards such as CDISC, HL7, or TransCelerate
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in SAS programming or other related languages; macro development knowledge expected
- Experience with multiple programming languages including SAS, R, Python, or similar
- Experience mentoring others in CDISC standards application
