The Opportunity

This is a key senior leadership level role within our Pension Risk Transfer business where you will build end-to-end client relationships, building a picture of what is needed from a customer/servicing proposition perspective to win on client side for large, complex scheme opportunities.

You will own the roadmap and customer proposition strategy whilst acting as the key conduit between external clients and internal client servicing teams, ensuring the ability to service all client needs to industry best standards.

A key part of the role is ensuring our solutions continue to differentiate Standard Life in the market by solving complex customer challenges and building on our reputation for customer care.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that our customers are at the heart of everything we do, from the initial prospecting stage through to buyout
• Owns and manages both the pre and post-sale in respect of the member & client servicing, including pitching the proposition and continuing the post-sale client activity including managing relationships with EBC buyout teams;
• Owns and accountable for the strategy for the customer proposition, including translating client needs into servicing solutions - working intimately with Client Services to ensure alignment and do-ability;
• Determines what a market-leading client experience looks like through market and deal feedback, as well as competitor insights;
• Serves as the market-facing representative for the customer proposition through pitches, conferences and thought leadership, building trusted relationships with trustees, Employee Benefit Consultants and other market stakeholders
• Work effectively with key internal stakeholders to ensure unity across the lifecycle of deal parameters and our propositional offerings

What are we looking for?

We're looking for a commercially driven Pension Risk Transfer leader with a proven track record of building client servicing relationships for complex PRT transactions. You'll bring deep market expertise, strong analytical capability and a thorough understanding of customer proposition.

Acting as a trusted partner and primary point of contact for clients in relation to client servicing and customer proposition, you'll have a proven ability to build and strengthen relationships with trustees, consultants and senior stakeholders, while confidently resolving complex issues and influencing strategic decisions.

You'll combine strong commercial judgement with experience, contributing to customer proposition strategy and long-term growth objectives. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities, you'll have a track record of delivering complex projects to demanding deadlines, maintaining exceptional standards of quality, accuracy and professionalism while working across diverse stakeholder groups.
