A highly regarded professional services practice is seeking an experienced and technically strong Trust Senior Tax Manager to join its established private client team.

This is an opportunity to advise a sophisticated portfolio of high-net-worth individuals across UK and international tax matters. Combining technical advisory work with compliance oversight and direct client engagement, the role offers exposure to complex personal tax affairs, wealth structuring and succession planning.

Working alongside Partners and other specialists, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality client service, identifying tax planning opportunities and providing technical guidance to colleagues.

THE ROLE

• Review tax returns prepared by consultants, providing technical input and ensuring accuracy and quality.

• Identify opportunities to restructure clients’ tax affairs and discuss planning options with the relevant Partner or client.

• Provide specialist tax advice across estate planning, inheritance tax, wealth structuring and international tax matters.

• Advise on complex UK and international personal tax affairs for high-net-worth individuals.

• Liaise with HMRC in relation to tax investigations and other relevant matters.

• Act as a key point of contact for clients alongside the Partner, maintaining strong and trusted relationships.

• Manage workflow effectively within a busy, deadline-driven environment.

• Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues to maintain high standards of delivery.

• Keep up to date with relevant tax developments and identify opportunities to improve clients’ tax positions.

YOUR BACKGROUND

You will be a technically accomplished private client tax professional with the confidence to advise sophisticated clients and manage complex matters in a demanding professional practice environment.

You are likely to demonstrate:

• CTA qualification, with a minimum of five years’ post-qualification experience.

• Experience advising a complex UK and international high-net-worth client base.

• Strong technical knowledge of private client tax, including inheritance tax, estate planning, wealth structuring and international tax issues.

• Experience reviewing tax returns and providing technical guidance to colleagues.

• The ability to identify tax planning and restructuring opportunities and communicate recommendations clearly.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
