Contract: Full Time/Part Time - Perm

Hour: 20-35 hours per week

Pay: £13.08 per hour weekdays & £13.58 per hour weekends

Shift: 9am - 2pm/ 2pm to 5pm - Weekday and alternative Weekends

Location: Ermine Close, St Albans, AL3 4LA

We are seeking a Housekeeper to join our Care Home in St Albans . Fosse House is a 81 bed residential care home offering residential, dementia, respite and day care services, with beautifully landscaped gardens, a vibrant activities programme, and a warm, person-centred environment that helps residents live life to the fullest.

As a Housekeeper you will maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home, ensuring residents are safe, comfortable and have a welcoming tidy environment, through compassionate and person-centred approach to supporting resident's wellbeing.

What You'll Bring

* You must have relevant experience or willing to learn the necessary skills.
* A positive, caring, and respectful attitude towards residents.
* Excellent attention to detail and high cleaning standards.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Knowledge of cleaning procedures, hygiene, and infection control.
* The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

* You'll help create a homely and caring atmosphere for our residents and ensure the quality of their lives is maximised.
* Provide a full range of housekeeping and cleaning duties, ie sanitising rooms, bathrooms, communal areas and changing and making beds, with cored disposal of waste.
* Provide support with Laundry duties including replenishing linen and supplies

* Following health and safety policies and procedures.
