Dispensary Manager

We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to take on the role of Dispensary Manager. In this key role, you will ensure the safe, timely and efficient supply of medicines across the Trust. You will oversee staffing, rotas and workflow, maintain high standards of governance, safety and stock control, and support the ongoing development and performance of the dispensary team. Working closely with pharmacy and clinical colleagues, you will help deliver a smooth, reliable and patient‑centred medicines supply service.

A confident and capable leader with strong organisational skills, clear communication and a proactive approach to day‑to‑day challenges. The role includes coordinating daily dispensary work to keep services running smoothly, organising staffing and managing workload priorities. You will maintain accurate stock processes and meet required standards, help develop staff skills and support a positive team culture. You will also contribute to service improvements, including digital developments and work closely with pharmacy and clinical teams to deliver a reliable, patient‑focused medicines service.
