Sales Administrator

Location: Office-based in Milton Park

Salary: 28k- 30k

Hours: 9am-5pm

We are looking for an organised and proactive Sales Administrator to join a busy team and provide day-to-day support to the sales function, customers and suppliers.

This is a varied role where you'll help keep orders moving, deal with customer and supplier queries, arrange deliveries and provide general administrative support.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Providing administrative support to the sales team

• Processing and managing purchase orders

• Dealing with customer and supplier queries

• Monitoring orders and deliveries

• Arranging and tracking incoming and outgoing shipments

• Processing returns and RMAs

• Managing the sales inbox and incoming calls

• Keeping systems and records up to date

• Carrying out credit checks and liaising with finance

• Assisting with reports and general office administration

• Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc tasks

We're looking for someone who is:

• Organised and able to manage multiple tasks

• Confident communicating with customers, suppliers and colleagues

• Accurate and has good attention to detail

• Proactive, positive and reliable

• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and general IT systems

• Able to work well as part of a team

• Customer-focused and willing to take ownership of problems

Previous experience in Sales Administration, Sales Support, Customer Service, Administration or a similar commercial role would be beneficial.

Experience with purchase orders, returns, deliveries or CRM/business management systems is also useful, but training can be provided for the right person .
