GSL Education Kent are currently recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Canterbury. This full-time position is available for an immediate start and offers the opportunity to play a vital role in supporting both teachers and pupils in creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to:

* Work closely with class teachers to deliver an engaging and inclusive primary curriculum.
* Lead 1:1 sessions or small group activities focused on literacy, numeracy, and social development.
* Assist in monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback to teaching staff.
* Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to all school-wide safeguarding protocols.

In order to be considered for this Teaching Assistant role, the candidate must:

* Have prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a related youth-support capacity.
* Demonstrate a sincere passion for helping young students grow both academically and personally.
* Exhibit excellent communication skills and a reliable, professional work ethic.
* Have the right to work in the UK.
* Meet GSL's safer recruitment background checks.
* Have a Child Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
