£45.89k - £56.13k per annum
Full-time
Job summary
Are you ready to lead a vibrant, values-driven team who are transforming young people's access to mental health support? This is your chance to step into a leadership role that blends purpose, influence and people-first practice. As our Team Leader , you'll provide day-to-day leadership to a talented team within our Mental Health Support Team (MHST) in schools across the Derby area. This is a role for someone who thrives on variety and challenge. You'll guide clinical decision-making, oversee risk management, and help embed inclusive, evidence-based practice in everything we do. You won't just manage, you'll mentor, develop and champion the people around you. You'll be joining a service that listens, adapts and stays focused on what really matters- supporting children and young people to feel safe, supported and empowered. If you want to grow your leadership career, inspire a passionate team and help shape the future of children and young people's mental health, this is the role to do it.

Main duties of the job

Experience delivering CBT and working with children and young people with complex needs. A supervision qualification or willingness to complete one. Experience leading or managing teams in a multi-agency setting. Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management and mental health legislation. Analytical skills with confidence using data, systems and digital tools to improve services. Excellent communication, planning and workload management skills.
