You won't just manage, you'll mentor, develop and champion the people around you. You'll be joining a service that listens, adapts and stays focused on what really matters- supporting children and young people to feel safe, supported and empowered. If you want to grow your leadership career, inspire a passionate team and help shape the future of children and young people's mental health, this is the role to do it. Main duties of the job
You're a confident, compassionate leader who brings energy, insight and integrity to everything you do. You care about getting things right for children and young people, and you know how to support others to deliver safe, effective and meaningful mental health support. You'll bring: A recognised qualification in a relevant area such as social work, nursing or psychology. Registration with a professional body (e.g. NMC, HCPC). Experience delivering CBT and working with children and young people with complex needs. A supervision qualification or willingness to complete one. Experience leading or managing teams in a multi-agency setting. Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management and mental health legislation. Analytical skills with confidence using data, systems and digital tools to improve services. Excellent communication, planning and workload management skills. You might also bring BABCP accreditation, experience supporting inclusive practice, or involvement in service improvement work. But most of all, you bring the values, resilience and drive to lead with purpose and empathy. About us
Compass is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults. Established for over 30 years, Compass is a national charity which works in communities across the UK providing services spanning substance misuse treatment and rehabilitation, early interventions for vulnerable young people, school-aged health programmes and associated prevention as well as treatment and health promotion initiatives. We positively encourage applications from all members of the community, regardless of gender, race, faith, disability, age, or sexual orientation, and encourage applications from people who have experiences in life which enrich skills and empathy. This is part of our commitment to equality and developing a truly inclusive and representative workforce. We are happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments individuals may require in the recruitment process, on commencement, or once in post. Benefits
