This is a role for someone who will lead and develop girls’ sport across the school, delivering high-quality PE lessons, coaching Netball as the primary programme and contributing to Hockey, Football and Cricket. You will plan fixtures, manage logistics, develop players and coaches, and support a broad extra-curricular sports offer while covering a teacher’s professional duties during the maternity period.

Teach the school’s PE curriculum: plan, deliver and assess engaging, differentiated lessons across age groups.
Organise and communicate fixture details (dates, venues, transport) with pupils, staff, parents and opposing schools.
Contribute to the extra-curricular sports programme: clubs, practices, competitions and events, including occasional evening/weekend commitments.
Attend weekly sports meetings and work closely with the Director of Sport to coordinate staffing, fixtures and development plans.
Represent the school at fixtures and external events, modelling professional behaviour and the school’s ARK values.
Complete routine administrative tasks: SOCS updates, risk assessments, fixture confirmations and basic budget oversight where required.
Carry out the professional duties of a teacher as directed by the Head, including assessment, safeguarding responsibilities, supervision and participating in staff meetings and CPD.
