Sous Chef – Savoury Production Kitchen
Cheshire | £30,000–£35,000 | Monday–Friday | 6:30am–3:00pm | No Weekends Perfect Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef to join a high-quality savoury production kitchen in Cheshire.
This is a great opportunity for a Rosette-trained Sous Chef, Senior CDP or experienced Chef de Partie ready to step up who wants to continue working with quality ingredients and high standards, but with a much better work-life balance. You’ll work alongside the Head Chef to oversee the daily production of premium savoury products, maintaining consistency, quality and excellent food standards across the kitchen.
The Role
• Support the Head Chef with the daily running of the production kitchen
• Lead and support the kitchen team
• Oversee food production, quality and consistency
• Work with premium ingredients and high-quality products
• Support menu and product development
• Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene and compliance standards
• Help drive efficient kitchen organisation and production
• Contribute ideas and improvements to products and processes About You
We’re looking for a chef with a strong background in quality, Rosette-standard kitchens, ideally gained within fine dining, hotels, restaurants or similar environments.
You’ll ideally have:
• Previous Sous Chef or Senior CDP experience
• Strong culinary skills and excellent attention to detail
• Experience working with quality ingredients
• High standards around food quality and presentation
• The ability to lead and support a kitchen team
• Good organisation and time-management skills
• A genuine passion for producing consistently high-quality food Most importantly, you may be ready for a change from evenings, split shifts and weekends — without compromising on the quality of food you produce. What's on Offer?
