We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered General Nurse within General Nursing in Cheltenham . This ongoing locum role offers competitive hourly rates of £20.00 - £25.00 , with the flexibility to work full-time or part-time shifts . The position is based at Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice , a respected inpatient hospice specialising in compassionate palliative care .

What you will do:

* Deliver comprehensive wound care and management to patients.
* Conduct accurate drug rounds , ensuring safe and timely administration of medications .
* Provide compassionate palliative care , tailored to individual patient needs and comfort .
* Perform catheterisation procedures safely and effectively.
* Monitor and manage fluid and electrolyte balance .
* Operate syringe drivers accurately for effective medication delivery.
* Administer IV medications safely and in line with clinical protocols.
* Carry out blood transfusions , ensuring patient safety and monitoring throughout the procedure .

Shift times:

* Early shifts: 07:30 - 20:30
* Late shifts: 12:30 - 20:30
* Long day shifts: 07:30 - 20:30
* Night shifts: 20:00 - 08:00
