We are seeking a motivated and collaborative individual to join our team as a House Services Supervisor . This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of high‑quality facilities services within the Directorate of Estates and Facilities. You will supervise a House Services team to ensure excellent standards of cleaning, hygiene, facilities management and customer service across campus, working within a dynamic and inclusive environment.
This is a part‑time (25 hours per week), permanent role , based on the University’s Oxford Road campus.
You will be responsible for:
- Supervising the day‑to‑day activities of the House Services team, ensuring service standards are maintained
- Supporting staff management, guidance and performance in line with University policies and best practice
- Assisting with stock control, equipment management and operational reporting
- Supporting delivery of events and out‑of‑hours activities across campus
- Promoting and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, equality, and environmental sustainability practices

Essential Criteria :
- Relevant experience in facilities, cleaning or operational service environments
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including working with diverse groups
- Ability to supervise staff and support effective team working
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- A commitment to delivering high standards of customer service
Desirable Criteria :
- Awareness of Health & Safety, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and Information Governance principles
- Awareness of environmental sustainability in workplace operations
