4 Days a Week PPA Teacher

Part‑Time PPA Teacher - Specialist SEN School (Sydenham) Monday-Thursday | September 2026 Start | £180-£260 per day (Umbrella)

Are you an experienced primary teacher who enjoys variety? Do you thrive in calm, nurturing SEN environments where every day feels purposeful? A warm, well‑resourced specialist school in Sydenham is looking for a Part‑Time PPA Teacher to join their team from September 2026 .

This role runs Monday to Thursday , offering a balanced timetable across the school and the chance to work within a supportive, child‑centred setting. The school is known for its structured approach, excellent facilities and a Senior Leadership Team who genuinely invest in staff wellbeing and development.

Your Role

• Providing PPA cover across a range of classes
• Teaching in the EYFS class for two days per week
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons for pupils with diverse additional needs
• Working collaboratively with support staff, therapists and class teachers
• Helping maintain a positive, predictable and inclusive learning environment

What We're Looking For

• QTS and strong UK primary teaching experience
• Previous SEN experience or a genuine interest in developing SEN expertise
• Confident planning independently and adapting lessons for a wide range of needs
• EYFS/KS1 experience is a real advantage
• A patient, nurturing and resilient teaching style
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Not suitable for ECTs

Pay & Contract

• £180-£260 per day (umbrella)
• Weekly pay
• Long‑term role starting September 2026
