Johnson & Johnson seeks a Principal Project Manager for DePuy Synthes Orthopedics to lead regulatory submissions and project coordination with EU Notified Bodies under MDR requirements. The role manages schedules, documentation, and stakeholder communication for medical device approvals across multiple locations in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate submissions to EU Notified Bodies including applications and project tracking for new and modified products
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and status reports for stakeholders and leadership
- Identify project risks, implement mitigation strategies, and escalate issues appropriately
- Serve as primary DePuy Synthes contact for interactions with Notified Bodies on MDR applications and change notifications
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance project management processes and systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in project management, regulatory affairs, life sciences, engineering, or related field
- 5–8 years of project management experience, preferably in medical device industry
- Proven experience managing cross-functional projects in regulated medical device environments
- Strong project planning, scheduling, and organizational capabilities
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills for stakeholder engagement
